We ship you the freshest Cape Cod oysters in stock. Most hail from the famous shellfish aquaculture in Wellfleet but we also source select oysters from Barnstable Harbor.

Our oysters are shipped whole. They do not arrived shucked.

Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Fresh

Unshucked oysters should last about a week in the fridge if you store them right. The key is to keep oysters cold and moist. Place the oysters in a colander or bowl, cover with a wet dish towel and store in the bottom of the fridge. Do not put oysters directly in water or in a closed plastic bag. Keep them cold until you are ready to shuck and eat. If you are serving raw oysters on the half shell, make sure they are resting on a bed of ice until consumed.

Preparation

We love our fresh oysters raw. Just shuck and slurp - or top with a little cocktail sauce or mignonette for an extra kick. If serving on the half shell, make sure you place oysters on ice to keep them cold and safe to eat.

You can also fry, grill, broil and bake (with butter and garlic!) or add oysters to stuffing or stew.

We get this product to you using Overnight Shipping.

All retail orders placed online are shipped overnight to your home or place of business. Orders must be placed by 2:30 PM EST for next day delivery via Federal Express. We deliver next day on Tuesday through Saturday, excluding major holidays and certain zip codes deemed "rural" by FedEx. Please note: Saturday deliveries are not available in all areas across the United States.
