Our jumbo lobsters have been a crowd pleaser for decades. For a limited time, we're offering a new way to order your favorite jumbo lobsters — by having our tank room staff find the biggest lobster we have in stock and add it to your order.

This time of year, our largest jumbo lobsters average around 7-8 pounds, but since we are getting in new shipments of fresh live lobsters every day, they could be heavier!

Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Live

Stays fresh up to 24 hours in the fridge but should be cooked and consumed as soon as possible.

Cooked lobster meat can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. For best results, wrap the lobster meat tightly in plastic wrap, then place in an airtight container or freezer bag, and remove as much air as possible before refrigerating or freezing.

Preparation

Live lobsters are best consumed as soon as possible. You can boil, steam, bake and grill your lobster. The meat is fresh, sweet and delicious no matter how you cook it.

How to Cook a Live Lobster

Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a rolling boil.
Place the live lobster headfirst into the pot and cover.
Return the water to a boil, then reduce to a steady simmer.
Cook for 8–10 minutes for the first pound, plus 2–3 minutes for each additional pound.
Lobster is done when the shell is bright red and the meat is firm and white.
Serve immediately with melted butter and fresh lemon.

We deliver next day on Tuesday through Saturday, excluding major holidays and certain zip codes deemed "rural" by FedEx. Please note: Saturday deliveries are not available in all areas across the United States.
