Firm and meaty, juicy and sweet, our market fresh swordfish steaks are great on the grill. Superb stacked on a skewer with summer vegetables, sliced into fish tacos or spiced-up with seasoning on a fish sandwich. Still succulent even at medium doneness. We select mature whole swordfish and cut steaks.

One (1) pound of swordfish steaks per order.

Stays fresh up to 24 hours in the fridge but should be cooked and consumed as soon as possible.

Preparation

Swordfish steaks are succulent, meaty and firm - an ideal fish for the grill or searing in a hot skillet - and taste even better when marinated.

Rinse and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper or whatever spices you enjoy.

Grill (either dry or brush with olive oil for a golden crust) over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes per side. You can also broil for 2-3 minutes per side or pan-sear with some olive oil or butter for 3-5 minutes per side.

The internal temperature should be 130-135°F when fully cooked.
