Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Fresh

Stays fresh up to 24 hours in the fridge but should be cooked and consumed as soon as possible.

Freeze within 24 hours after cooking

Preparation

We love a quick seared tuna steak. Pat dry with paper towels, brush with oil and season with salt, pepper and coat with sesame seeds (if you're feeling adventurous.) Get your skillet hot - the oil should shimmer. Cook for 60-90 seconds per side for medium-rare. Same time goes for grilling. Increase the time for a more well-done tuna steak.

Tuna's firm meat makes it ideal for grilled kebabs and fish tacos. You can also cut fresh tuna into cubes and add it to a poke bowl with avocado, rice, sesame seeds and soy sauce.

If you want to add some extra flavor, marinate your tuna for 30-40 minutes before cooking.
