We support efforts to rebuild our local stock of Atlantic Cod by providing you with the more abundant and sustainable Icelandic variety so you can feel good about your fish. You'll get a thick cut loin - a prime cut - always super fresh and harvested responsibly. We deliver ours skinless, so it's ready to bake, broil, poach or fry.

Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Fresh

Stays fresh up to 24 hours in the fridge but should be cooked and consumed as soon as possible.

Preparation

Cod is the perfect white fish. Thick, flaky and easy to prepare whether you bake, sear or pan-fry.

Rinse and pat the fillet dry. Season with salt and pepper, then add to a baking dish with some olive oil, lemon and cherry tomatoes (or whatever combo you choose) and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400-425° F.

You can also pan-fry fillets with great results. Cook in a pan with butter and garlic - 3 to 4 minutes per side - then squeeze some lemon and top with parsley to finish. Dredge in beer batter and deep fry in 350-360° F oil for 3-4 minutes, or dip in an egg wash and panko and pan-fry with oil for 3-4 minutes per side.

The internal temperature of the cod should be 145° F when cooked through.

We deliver next day on Tuesday through Saturday, excluding major holidays and certain zip codes deemed "rural" by FedEx. Please note: Saturday deliveries are not available in all areas across the United States.
