Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Frozen

Cooked lobster meat can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. For best results, wrap the lobster meat tightly in plastic wrap, then place in an airtight container or freezer bag, and remove as much air as possible before refrigerating or freezing.

Preparation

Split the shell down the middle (butterfly) with kitchen shears to expose the lobster tail meat. Brush the meat with butter (and garlic if you like!) Cook in a 400°F oven for 12-15 minutes or broil for 1 minute per ounce.

You can also grill, meat side down for 3-5 minutes, then flip for another 3-5 minutes. Boiling or steaming is also and option - 1 minute per ounce.

The shell should be red and lobster meat opaque when cooked through.
