Just right, our 1.5 lb. select hardshell lobster is the perfect size to serve with sides like Mac’s Clam Chowder. Our lobster is delivered live, complete with cooking instructions. You supply the drawn butter.

One (1) pound and a half lobster per order.

*Due to the nature of the shipping process, our lobsters are not priced to the pound, but as close as possible to the weight listed, depending on availability. 1.5 lb. graded lobsters can range in size from 1.46 to 1.74 lbs.

Keeping It Fresh

Product Arrives Live

Stays fresh up to 24 hours in the fridge but should be cooked and consumed as soon as possible.

Preparation

Live lobsters are best consumed as soon as possible. You can boil, steam, bake and grill your lobster. The meat is fresh, sweet and delicious no matter how you cook it.

How to Cook a Live Lobster

Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a rolling boil.
Place the live lobster headfirst into the pot and cover.
Return the water to a boil, then reduce to a steady simmer.
Cook for 8–10 minutes for the first pound, plus 2–3 minutes for each additional pound.
Lobster is done when the shell is bright red and the meat is firm and white.
Serve immediately with melted butter and fresh lemon.

We deliver next day on Tuesday through Saturday, excluding major holidays and certain zip codes deemed "rural" by FedEx. Please note: Saturday deliveries are not available in all areas across the United States.
