Grilled Lobster Tails Recipe

There’s no easier way to enjoy fresh local lobster this summer than grilling up shucked lobster tails. This basic but extraordinarily delicious recipe is quick and easy, whether your feeding a crowd or sneaking a savory lobster tail for yourself!

Grilled Lobster Tails Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • Four 8-10 oz lobster tails
  • 1/2 lb. (one stick) butter, melted
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chopped tarragon
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

If frozen, defrost the lobster tails overnight in the refrigerator. Tails should be fully thawed before grilling.

Pre-heat the grill to medium high. While the grill is getting hot, melt the butter in a saucepan and add minced garlic, chopped tarragon, and salt + pepper to taste.

Place the lobster tails on the grill, meat side up, for 4 – 5 minutes. Baste the lobster meat with the garlic/tarragon butter and flip the tails over. Grill for an additional 2 minutes, remove from the heat and enjoy! Use any leftover garlic/tarragon butter for dipping.
